REGISTRATION

Foreign registrations are possible ONLY through the National Federation.

Representatives of the National Federation should download the form, fill the information and send it to the organizers: worldyouth@fide.com

FLIGHT AND HOTEL INFORMATION:

Travel information and hotel should be informed AFTER the registrations are done by the National Federation. Please, advice your participants to proceed with flight bookings and prepare the payments for the hotel reservation. Once the organizers receive the registration form from the Federation, they will ask about these information, including visa issues.

Procedure for Registration

  • To participate in the FIDE World Youth Chess Championships 2024, the player must not have reached his/her 18th birthday before January 1st, 2024.
  • Every National Federation can register one official player in each category (under 14, 16, 18 years old, Open and Girls).
  • Players, other than Official Players, shall be classified as Additional Players.
  • All other people, other than players or the Accompanying Officials, shall be classified as Accompanying Persons. Each National Federation shall be responsible for all the costs of their Additional Players and Accompanying Persons.

If you are elegible, you should contact your National Federation.

After their approval, you should pay the required fees and start preparing your trip to Brazil.

The fees are:

  • FIDE Fee – Official player: € 70 each
  • FIDE Fee – Additional Player: € 140 each
  • Organization Fee – Players (Official and Additional) and Accompanying Persons/Official: € 120 each

The registration must be made by September 2nd, 2024.

When registering (by September 2nd, 2024), the registration fee of 120 € and a minimum prepayment of 30% of the cost for board and lodging shall be paid. All payments must be finalized upon arrival. Players will not be paired until all payments (including hotel) and fees are paid to the Organizers.
